Cole Quest & the City Pickers wi opener The Shore Thing
Cole, grandson of Woody Guthrie, and his NYC pickers weave an entertaining and foot-tapping show. The music is a mix of blue grass, country, and folk mixing original tunes with classics and sometimes obscure songs from the family archives. An Uncle Arlo tune, fittingly, Uncle Jeff, is on their CD.

About The Event
Cole Quest and The City Pickers are a group of New York City musicians connected by friendship and a love of bluegrass. Cole Quest, grandson of the folk icon Woody Guthrie, has brought together a collection of eclectic pickers who have gained recognition on the local scene. Performing both Quest's original tunes as well as traditional favorites, The City Pickers bring their special brand of high-spirited talent to the stage, with up-beat, knee slapping energy and a high lonesome sound that'll leave you wanting more.

Opening act, The Shore Thing, is a local favorite ours. They opened ShirtStock3 with their cool beach sounds. We thought this young group headed by our very own Johnny Gunn would be a good counterpoint to the bluegrass sounds of Cole's group.
Keeping with the NYC vibe, our Gallery Artist is tentatively Jane Feldman, an old friend and a respected award-winning NYC photographer.
Charity is still to be determined. Check back for updates.
