About The Event
Welcome back, Ronny Cox!!! Besides his long list of movie credits beginning as the character Drew in Deliverance (he was the guitar player in the dueling banjo scene) to Star Trek, RoboCop, and True Lies, Ronny recently was a regular on the television series Nashville. The series ended with one of his songs. His other love has always been music and he loves playing intimate gatherings where he can really get to know his audience. Dont be surprised if he meets you at the door. Prepare for captivating stories, great music, and a wonderful evening. He will be accompanied by his own harp player and he invited the incredible Heather Pierson Trio to join him. The talented trio of multi-instrumentalists will dazzle!
Come join us! $23 per person suggested donation and we invite you to bring a finger-food-only or beverage to share on our community buffet.
Ronny's song, "Bus to Baltimore", won a 2018 Roundglass Music Award. It is about a person with Alzheimer's.
For our charity we collect for at the show, Ronny requested we choose an organization that works with Alzheimer's affected. The wonderful Senior Resource Association offers two Alzhimer daycare centers in Indian River County. Their center managers say their Needs List includes art supplies, wash cloths or towels for their shower rooms, scentless baby wipes, Lysol cleaner, Clorox wipes. We request everyone who comes bring something to donate to these centers doing great work.
